Entrance is guaranteed for all 8th grade Tapestry Charter School students who apply. Since there is only one class of 25 Tapestry 8th graders who could potentially move up to 9th grade, at least 50 additional students will be accepted for 9th grade each subsequent year. If the number of applications exceeds the available spaces, a blind lottery will be held. Students who live in the city of Buffalo will be given preference for admission.
